Today’s entry? A sunny, clarion call for LGBTIQ safety and inclusiveness

This entry represents access to rights under the Victorian Charter under the broader themes of freedom, respect and equality. It demonstrates community leadership to provide safe and inclusive environments for our LGBTIQ people, who make up approximately 10% of the population in the west – many of whom, despite increasing legal and social recognition continue to face higher levels of violence, harassment and discrimination in Victoria.

“I am hopeful for the elimination of all forms of homo/bi/trans-phobic discrimination within our communities and for social inclusion for all women, regardless of sexuality or gender.”
