WHW is seeking to engage an evaluator to undertake evaluation of the Our Community, Our Rights project, which aims to build understanding, confidence and practical skills in human rights, advocacy and civic participation.
In 2013, the project is being delivered to a group of 12 Chin, Karen, Kachin and Karenni women through a series of workshops and subsequent support for participants to develop their own community projects on human rights issues relevant to their communities.
The successful evaluator will be sensitive to the needs and experiences of refugee women, and will have extensive experience developing evaluation frameworks and monitoring and evaluating projects using a range of qualitative techniques including conducting interviews and focus groups employing the Most Significant Change technique.
