The Preventing Violence Together partnership, along with the Gender Equity for Community Health Services Working Group have developed an animated film and guide, Why gender matters: A guide for community health services (available to download here).
These resources seek to increase the capacity of community health service organisations to be gender equitable providers and employers. They aim to do so by increasing the capacity of staff to apply a gender-responsive approach to their work practice, with the intention of working towards gender transformative practice, to prevent men’s violence against women.
