The You, Me and Us project provided professional development training to adult leaders in schools and organisations that chose to deliver the project. The training supports the sustainability of the project by increasing professionals’ knowledge and skills to continue discussions about respectful relationships with young people, and provides them with audit tools and action plans to develop strategies to promote respectful relationships, gender equity and ethical behaviour within a variety of settings.
Women’s Health West has developed this booklet for professionals who have attended the You, Me and Us professional development training. This presentation is designed to support the delivery of the You, Me and Us professional development training.
Adults who participate in the professional development training are required to undertake a whole-of-organisation audit of existing respectful relationship strategies within their organisations prior to attending the training. There are separate audit tools for sports organisations, youth organisations, and higher education institutions.
In the You, Me and Us professional development training, adult leaders are supported to develop a whole-of-organisation action planning tool to support the development of strategies that promote respectful relationships and gender equity within their school or organisation. Again, there are separate action plans for sports organisations, youth organisations, and higher education institutions.
