Community programs

A major factor affecting women's health is our feeling of connection: to friends, to family and to our communities. Social isolation undermines emotional wellbeing, and gives us fewer resources to draw on in times of crisis or ill health.

We bring women together to support each other and strengthen their sense of connection. Using a community development approach we involve women in a range of short or long-term health promotion activities within their own communities, including health festivals, support groups, resource production and more.
